There is light at the end of the tunnel.

"Light at the end of the tunnel" what a cliche, right? Well, today I became a believer that such a thing exists. For me, hope seems hard to come by these days. So many things feel dark and tunnel-like. Discouragement seems more real than hope does. But, my instincts tell me that even though there is a lot of darkness, there is light to follow.

Tonight on my walk with Baxter I came upon a 'tunnel' of trees and directly through the trees the sun was setting. It was a literal light at the end of the tunnel. This image reminded me that even though it may not seem like it, there is light to be found, light to be seen, light to live in. I just need to see it.

As I experienced this miracle in the mundane, I laughed out loud at the irony of how I felt in comparison to the hope that was screaming in my face. I am being forced to see the literal light and embrace it as hope. I will do my best to just that.

Miracle in the mundane: There is light at the end of the tunnel.
