I am the luckiest girl in the world. I am overwhelmed and blessed to have such amazing family and friends. I turned 40. Lordy, lordy. But the only way to turn 40, in my book, is to have a freaking amazing birthday party.
I knew the party was happening, but I didn't know I would be toasted...as the words of love and admiration swirled around me I realized that there is no way I could have gotten to where I am without all the people surrounding me. The unwavering love and devotion to who I am as a wife, daughter, friend and confidant was tangibly being realized.
I feel so lucky to have had this sort of out of body experience where I got to experience loyalty and love. The laughter, tears, joy, and undying devotion will be cherished for years to come.
Lordy, lordy I am 40, but I am not alone. I am surrounded by amazing people whom I love and adore.
