CABIN! Life is the Best Life

CABIN! 2012!
My 22 days in paradise did not disappoint.
In fact, the title of this post comes from this plaque hanging on the wall:

When 10 year old Ryn, who was at the CABIN! with her family for the 3rd year in a row, noticed it she
sighed, paused and said,
"Man, that's the truth. CABIN! life IS the best life."
Yes, yes it is.
I think my obsession with the CABIN! is rooted in my obsession with my family.
My family's vacation destination has been the CABIN! for 45 years!
Here are some pictures that show some of the history of our family in this sacred place and the tradition this space holds.
My grandparents in 1970.

This picture with my family was probably taken around 1974.
I think, because of my stars and stripes bikini (!!!) this is 1976.
1983 in all its goodness.

This is a perfect picture of my aunts, uncles, mom and grandparents...(maybe 1975??)

I am so grateful that Brian and I have created space in our vacation life for the CABIN! tradition and that
my roommate from college and her family are too. We have a perfect time together.

The CABIN! will always be a treasured place. Every single aspect of the CABIN! is perfect.
I am beyond grateful that I get to continue this family tradition.

Cheers to the CABIN! in all its tradition and goodness.
