"Some of us get dipped in flat [paint], some in satin, some in gloss...But every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent , and when you do, nothing will ever compare."
-Flipped [pg 96]
As I read and explained this quote to my 8th grade students, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the many, many people in my life who are "iridescent".
These are the people that no matter what light they are in, they shine, glow, radiate and brighten what is around them.
They are irreplaceable and precious.
To have an iridescent person in your life means you see,
hope, Grace, light and love.
They change your life.
My iridescent gifts have made me a better person and they continue to inspire me to be real and true to myself.
I am so very grateful for each of you.
Keep shining on.
