I am grateful that I found this one from the list difficult to decide on.
I am grateful because I truly don't take for granted the gift of travel.
I was able to travel some in my 20's and 30's to places like Europe,
(Eastern and Western) India, Canada, and many states in the U.S.
Brian and I have made travel a top priority in how we prioritize our budget and
how we choose to spend our time off.
Travelling to other places brings me such joy. I love seeing how "the other half lives" and I love the perspective of life that I get because I have experienced new things.
For this post, I decided to share a few pictures from our trip to
New York City which was where we went on our honeymoon.
{There are like, a million, pictures I could have posted here, but I chose to just focus on a few highlights...plus, this trip was PB (pre-blogging) so my blog mindset was not on cue yet! Now I know, document EVERYTHING! :) }

We really weren't sure what we wanted to do for this very special trip. We knew we liked trying new things, especially new restaurants and we knew we wanted our honeymoon to be as unstructured as possible. Visiting the Big Apple ended up winning our vote because of the potential adventure, food, and the killer airfare/hotel deal we ended up getting.
It was an amazing trip and we can't wait to go back!
Views from the top of the Empire State Building--AMAZING!!!!!
Newlyweds on the Brooklyn Bridge :)
Food!
{Again, this being PB is why the documentation of ALL the AMAZING food is lacking.}
MoMA!
{Isn't this picture trippy?? Brian captured the contemporary artistic light display perfectly!}
T-Rex, oh my!
{We spontaneously went to the Natural History Museum after we were DRENCHED from a freak rainstorm while we were in Central Park. I must admit, though, it was pretty darn romantic to be caught in the rain--we just needed a Pina Colada to make it perfect! :)}
We happened upon the world premier of the Sex and the City movie. (This was 2008, BTW...) Hundreds of people were lined up outside of Radio City Music Hall. We asked them what they were doing and when they told us it was for SATC we decided to stay and see what we could see... Well, little did we know that we were lined up right where the stars of the movie/show were dropped off!! Each star got out of their cars RIGHT in front of us!
Brian had the camera above his head and he captured this perfectly!
The back of the head picture is of Carrie/Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. It's really them, I promise!
Samantha/Kim Cattrall has PERFECT skin!!!!
{And she is wearing a dress, it just doesn't look like it here! Very Samantha, huh?}
* My Miranda/Cynthia Nixon picture won't upload! Sorry Miranda!
We ended up going to the movie premier in Times Square later in the week. I wore heels {duh!} and Brian was one of maybe 10 guys in the theater. What a good sport.
{Of course, I think he secretly LOVED the movie! :)}
It was a great experience to have such a timely celebrity sighting!
No trip I take would be complete without a tree picture.
The trees in Central Park are gorgeous and they made me really happy.
I look forward to blogging more about the different trips we take.
Travel is SO good for the soul.
*Sigh*
Looks like such a fun trip! One of my favorite vacations was to NYC to visit a friend who had just moved. It's such a magical city!
